The item is well made but the one I received didn't have the velcro strap that connected to the seat post. Instead, it had the old black o-ring that wraps around the post. This just broke off the seat post two days after installation. I never rode my bike with it on. I went to OSH to find another o-ring to replace the other one. If this happens to you, go to the plumbing section and get item #0613 and it will solve the problem. It costs 75 cents for a set of two o-rings. Keep the extra one in the bag as a spare.
