++ Schwinn 230 Recumbent Exercise Bike

Had this bike about 1 month now and have had no problems. Instructions were understandable and assembly was was easy and relatively quick. Bike is sturdy and comfortable for people of different sizes (wife is 5'6" and son is 6'4"). Can't believe how quiet this thing is! Sits in the family room and you can ride and watch and hear the TV without turning up the sound or disturbing anyone else in the room. And it gives you a good workout too! Resistance adjustments are electronic and you can definitely feel the difference from one level to the next. Would definitely recommend this bike but usually don't have to. Anyone that sees it and tries it is impressed.

I recently moved from Chicago to San Diego - a long 2300 mile drive - and I wanted to bring my 3 bikes back with me. One, a mountain bike, and the other two beach cruisers. There was a lot of weight on the rack, but it held strong the entire way. I was admittedly nervous about the rack before I started, but it held strong and true, even when dealing with elements (wind, rain, and even dust storms).



I was very happy with the performance of the rack as well as the locking hitch pin that I bought separately. Both get two big thumbs up!

#$ Schwinn 220 Recumbent Exercise Bike

I wanted a mid-range exercise bike that was quiet, solid, reliable but reasonable priced. After a bit of research I decided on the Schwinn 220 and now after 6 weeks of use I am pleased that this has turned out well.



Assembly was very straightforward and took about 90 minutes on my own. Only problem was my own where I didn't look at the instructions carefully and spent too much time trying to screw on one of the pedals until I realised that one had a reverse thread.



Performance has lived up to expectations. I find the seat / position adjusted well and is comfortable. There is no noise during use and it feels very solid. There is a good range of workout options ranging from easy through to challenging.



The display is very clear and easy to use. There are a couple of small improvements which would have been nice. This model only supports one user's settings and history with everybody else being a guest. As my wife uses it as well it would have been better if it supported settings for a number of real users. Then there is a silly bug with the history summary which shows number of workouts, hours of use, miles, calories etc. The hours of use has been calculated thinking that a 30 minute workout is 0.3 of an hour. So 10 30 minute workouts show up as 3 hours rather than 5. No big deal but a bit sloppy.



Overall I am pleased with the choice and use it regularly now.
