I bought this to work on a hand injury. I'd never used a product like this before -- I've used hand grips, the spring-loaded grips, etc. -- and I was pleasantly surprised at how versatile and effective this is. It's easy to isolate fingers, or even massage areas by rolling on a hard surface, etc. Actually fun to use.
The instruction sheet is from another product that I think is no longer made (the few exercises on the sheet still work, of course). Thinking this was probably the "soft" resistance, I bought a three-pack of balls with varying resistance, and nope, this ball is closer to "firm" (at least, medium-firm).
Good product, good price, and I would think for most cases, this would be the only ball you need (although the pinky of my injured hand does prefer the "soft" resistance ball).
